About Steve
Hello and thank you for visiting our website. My name is Steve I am the owner and manager of Cutting Edge Tree Care. Let me tell you a little about myself.
At the age of 24, I made a career change and began a journey into tree surgery work. My granddad had been a gardener at Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire, before becoming a self employed gardener, and I think some of his green fingers passed to me. Initially, I started working as a groundsman under the guidance of an established and highly regarded tree surgery company in Cheshire. That experience imparted a true appreciation, skill, and enthusiasm for tree surgery that has stayed with me. That was some 20 years ago, longer than I care to remember.
With plenty of hard work and enthusiasm, my role with that tree surgery company soon progressed from groundsman to trainee tree climber, gaining my qualifications and more valuable experience, skills, and knowledge along the way.
By 2008, I had become a very capable and highly regarded tree surgeon in my own right, and I made the decision to begin climbing independently for other tree companies whilst setting up my own tree surgery company in Macclesfield, Cutting Edge Tree Care, which is now in its 15th year.
I am extremely proud of the excellent reputation we have gained, both in the private and commercial sectors, and my belief is still the same toady as it was when starting Cutting Edge Tree Care – to offer the best possible tree surgery services to our customers. From our knowledge and experience and unrivalled skill in tree surgery work, to offering valuable advise along the way, with a friendly, professional, personal, and reliable approach to our work, all of these points are as important to me as they are to you, our customer, and I pride myself on offering all of this as Cutting Edge Tree Care.
