Tree cutting & crown reduction in Macclesfield

At over 100ft, this Lombardy poplar tree at a property in Macclesfield, Cheshire, was safely climbed and cut by us, reducing it in height by around 40%.
This poplar tree had grown to over 100ft and was located in a small garden close to the owner’s and neighbouring properties. At this height the tree had become too large for its area and was unstable in strong winds. The tree surgery significantly increased light levels into the garden, and more importantly, made the tree safe in even high winds.
The tree was safely climbed by tree surgeon Steve, using rope access, and was then skilfully and accurately section reduced, all into a small garden area. The large amount of debris created was then chipped and the garden left in an immaculate condition.
As with every job that Cutting Edge Tree Care undertake, a check was carried out for tree preservation orders and/or conservation area restrictions, before commencement of any tree surgery works. On this occasion our investigations showed no such protection allowing us to commence our works without restriction.
